Background

Months before the 2025 Super Bowl, excitement was high across the US as fans rallied behind their favorite teams. Numerous online platforms offer the opportunity for people to predict the outcome of the big game. Recognizing this opportunity, the company decided to swiftly launched a platform inviting users to forecast the results of sports events and much more. Beginning with the Super Bowl, the platform rapidly expanded over the following months to include a wide range of sports, championships, matches, and even more events for users to engage with.

Process

Phase 1

To launch the product as quickly as possible, we initially focused on the Super Bowl 2025 as a single event. My manager rapidly designed and shipped the initial version, and I took over from there to iterate and improve the design based on user data and feedback gathered post-launch.

Phase 2

Following the successful launch of the Super Bowl event, I quickly initiated Phase 2, focusing on broadening the platform to include additional sports predictions. In addition to headline events like the Super Bowl and major championships, individual matches were introduced for users to forecast. Throughout this expansion, I implemented numerous design enhancements guided by user data and usability testing, ensuring a more engaging and intuitive experience.

As the product expanded to include more sports, a dedicated navigation layer was introduced, allowing users to easily browse all available sports. To streamline the experience further, I separated headline events from individual matches into distinct sections, making it effortless for users to find exactly what they’re looking for.

Phase 3

Building on the momentum from Sports Prediction, we expanded our product lineup by introducing Predict (Events). With both products offered side by side, ensuring visual and experiential consistency became a top priority. Special attention was given to enhancing navigation, resulting in a seamless and unified user journey; whether users are trading or exploring a variety of sports and events.
